"Kik Sasitorn" is pursuing a second term as Phra Nakhon District Councilor, announcing that area development must be continuous and asking for the incumbent to be allowed to continue working, building on previous policies while adding new initiatives to advance Phra Nakhon.
On 28 May 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Sasitorn Prasitpornudom, known as "Kik," officially registered as a candidate for the Bangkok Metropolitan Council (BMC) in Phra Nakhon district for a second term. This time, she drew candidate number 2 and pledged to serve and work for the residents of Phra Nakhon.
Ms. Sasitorn revealed that during her previous term, she focused on continuously addressing problems and developing the area in aspects such as quality of life, environment, and infrastructure. Many projects still require continuation to achieve tangible results. Her candidacy represents an important opportunity to advance existing policies to completion and initiate new projects to further enhance residents' quality of life in Phra Nakhon. This reflects her approach of practical action and building on what has been started for maximum public benefit. Since development requires continuity, and many efforts are already underway, if re-elected, she can immediately continue these projects without starting over, enabling faster and more concrete benefits for the community.
"Phra Nakhon is the heart of Bangkok in terms of history, culture, and tourism. Therefore, development must go hand in hand with preserving the area's unique identity and balancing the enhancement of quality of life for longtime community residents," Ms. Sasitorn said.
Regarding this candidacy, Ms. Sasitorn emphasized she will continue existing initiatives and expand new policies covering quality of life and community welfare, solving traffic and orderliness issues, environmental care and cleanliness, as well as promoting community economy alongside sustainable tourism. She therefore appeals to all residents to vote for number 2, so together they can move Phra Nakhon forward.
