Thailand’s ‘Thai Chuey Thai Plus’ Program Surpasses 26.2 Million Registrations, Over 650,000 Stores Ready Nationwide

The government revealed that the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" program continues to receive strong responses, with over 26.2 million people registered and more than 650,000 stores ready to participate nationwide.

On 29 May 2026, Ms. Lalida Pertwiwatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s Office, stated that the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus 60/40" program continues to gain steady support from both citizens and business operators across the country since registration opened on 25 May 2026. The latest data as of 28 May 2026 shows a total of 26,207,092 people registered, with 25,480,764 successfully completing registration and receiving benefits. Of these, 18,840,065 participants, or 74 percent, had previously joined the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program, while 6,640,699 are new registrants. This reflects strong public confidence in the government’s economic stimulus measures and increasing access for new groups to the benefits.

Ms. Lalida added that by age group, those aged 31–45 years have the highest successful registrations at over 8.2 million, followed by the 46–60 age group with 7.2 million, and the 21–30 age group with 4.7 million. By gender, 14.3 million women (56 percent) and 11.2 million men (44 percent) have completed registration successfully.

Regarding stores, currently, 1,029,161 have registered to participate in the program, with 1,025,038 verified. More than 652,980 stores have completed registration and are ready to operate under the program.

Restaurants and beverage outlets remain the largest business group participating, totaling 581,210 stores. This is followed by general and other shops with 270,732 stores, 'Thong Fah' stores with 160,611, OTOP stores with 10,571, as well as over 1,900 public and mass transit transport businesses.

At the regional level, the Northeast has the highest number of participating stores at 199,900, representing 19 percent. Next are Bangkok with 153,581 stores, the South with 150,333, the Central region with 132,881, and the East with 108,124 stores. Provinces with the most participating stores include Bangkok, Chonburi, Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, and Pathum Thani.

Ms. Lalida said the government, led by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, is fully advancing grassroots economic stimulus measures to help reduce living costs, increase purchasing power, and generate income for small shops, local entrepreneurs, and community businesses nationwide.

“The continuously increasing registration numbers among both citizens and stores reflect confidence in the government’s measures and demonstrate that the public and business operators are ready to jointly participate in economic stimulation in a concrete way,” she said.
