They also conducted a site inspection of the construction of the Lam Huai Yai monkey cheek project and the Huai Sai Tai reservoir as part of the provincial development projects.
This progress review meeting for Phetchaburi's development projects reflected successful sustainable integration among the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, the Provincial Electricity Authority, and all partners, united in following the royal initiative. "Preserve, Maintain, and Build Upon" served as the core driving principle for this important strategy, which includes master planning for the development of the Hub Kaphong and Huai Sai Tai areas, groundwater management for consumption, and expanding the electricity grid in the Lam Huai Yai monkey cheek area. Additionally, the focus is on clean energy through installing floating solar panels at Huai Sai Tai reservoir and Lam Huai Yai monkey cheek project, alongside establishing water conveyance and pumping systems connecting the networks and improving landscaping to increase green spaces around the reservoir. This aims to rehabilitate the land into public benefit areas. The initial phase of these efforts has already made steady progress.
For the next phase, plans include expanding and enhancing transportation routes linking surrounding communities, alongside upgrading water management systems for agriculture. Currently, the electricity grid extension and equipment installation at the Lam Huai Yai pumping station have been completed, which will improve water delivery efficiency to farmers across the area. Relevant agencies stand ready to closely collaborate with Phetchaburi Province and all sectors to drive these development projects to completion according to the master plan, aiming to maximize benefits for regional development and sustainably elevate the quality of life for the people.
