Jo Chaiwat campaigned vigorously in Sai Mai, pointing out that Bangkok's issues are too extensive for one person to solve alone. He called on Bangkok residents to elect both the governor and PCP council candidates as a team to create a caring city. During the campaign, he also shook hands with Chadchart.
On 30 May 2026, Mr. Chaiwat Sathaworawijit, PCP gubernatorial candidate number 10, visited Sai Mai Soi 15 accompanied by “Aof” Phomphon Phonjan, PCP council candidate for Sai Mai district number 5. In the morning, they joined a community coffee meeting, listening to the concerns of elderly residents and presenting the party’s district-specific agendas to address those issues.
Mr. Chaiwat stated that many problems raised by the community are comprehensively addressed by PCP’s four 'easy' policies: easy travel, easy commerce, easy family care, and easy living. Observing the Sai Mai community, which has public spaces for residents to meet and exchange ideas for development, he believes Bangkok should support creating more such spaces. PCP proposes increasing the central budget allocation to each district by 7-13 million baht across all 50 districts, and implementing participatory budgeting to enable districts to solve problems quickly and effectively. This includes addressing community flooding partly through a 100% thorough drain-cleaning policy to prevent blockages.
Later, Mr. Chaiwat continued campaigning at the AC Sai Mai market accompanied by Sirikanya Tansakul, PCP deputy leader. During the campaign, they met Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, with whom Chaiwat shook hands in greeting.
The atmosphere at AC Sai Mai market was lively, with many residents requesting photos and offering support, saying they have consistently voted for progressive parties. Mr. Chaiwat inquired about issues affecting commerce and emphasized that PCP intends to work as a team — not only the governor but also the management team and council candidates across all 50 districts will coordinate efforts to solve Bangkok’s problems.
Mr. Chaiwat said many of Bangkok's problems are chronic and structural, involving what he called the 'major arteries.' Solving these requires the governor and administration to have firm political will. PCP’s policy includes decentralization to empower Bangkok with more self-management authority.
He invited Bangkok residents to consider that this election is not just about choosing one governor. Bangkok’s problems are numerous and cannot be solved by one person alone. A team effort with determined political will is needed to confront challenges without excuses about limited authority, focusing instead on Bangkok residents’ best interests.
Mr. Chaiwat also urged citizens to exercise their voting rights on 28 June 2026. Voters will have two ballots: a green ballot to vote for gubernatorial candidate number 10, and a pink ballot to select PCP council candidates across all 50 districts. He encouraged voters to support PCP as a team to build a caring city that makes daily life easier for Bangkok residents.
Afterwards, Mr. Chaiwat inspected issues at the orange wooden bridge connecting BTS Khu Khot near Khlong Hok Wa. In the afternoon, he planned to campaign in Bang Khen and Don Mueang districts alongside council candidates.
