Bangkok reports a total of 18 candidates for governor, with only 3 affiliated with political parties. Meanwhile, there are 258 candidates running for Bangkok Metropolitan Council across 50 districts, with Khlong Sam Wa having the highest number of council candidates at 10.


At 16:30 on 1 June 2026, Bangkok reported the number of candidates for governor and metropolitan council members.

Between 28 May and 1 June 2026 at 16:30, the total number of candidates registered for Bangkok Metropolitan Council elections across 50 districts was 258.


The five districts with the highest number of candidates are as follows:
