At 07:30 on 3 June 2026, at Sanam Luang, Mr. Anutin Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, gave an interview regarding the case of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra receiving a royal pardon. He said, "I have learned from the news and would like to congratulate him. Today is an auspicious day, so I will not talk about other matters."
The Prime Minister then said he invites the public to join at 19:00 today at Sanam Luang for a candle-lighting ceremony to offer blessings on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th cycle birthday celebration. He encouraged everyone to light candles to wish the Queen a long and healthy life.
The reporter added that today the Prime Minister switched to using a black Toyota bZ4X electric car, license plate JAT 32 Bangkok.
