Bangkok residents can now verify their eligibility to vote in the Governor and Council elections through several channels, as follows.

On the Ministry of Interior Registration Administration Office website www.bora.dopa.go.th, select“Check local election voter eligibility.”Then, enter your 13-digit national ID number and click search. Information such as election date, name, voting rights, electoral district, polling unit, polling place, and position in the voter list will appear.

Adding and removing names.

At least 10 days before the election (deadline 17 June 2026 GMT+7), if you or someone listed in your household registration is not on the voter list, or if the head of the household finds someone listed who does not actually reside there, submit a request to the local registrar (district chief) to add or remove names. Bring copies of the household registration and ID card or other government-issued identification for verification.

However, if you cannot vote due to unavoidable reasons, you must notify the reason for being unable to vote at least 7 days before and up to 7 days after the election. This can also be done electronically (see more details:Report your absence from voting in the Bangkok Governor and Council elections; failure to notify may result in restricted rights.)
