“Akkaranan” Encourages “Local Devotion Teachers,” Praises Their Sacrifice and Dedication to Hometowns

“Akkaranan” visited Nakhon Ratchasima and sent encouragement via video call to “Local Devotion Teachers,” praising their genuine love for their hometowns and true sacrifice, dedicating themselves to their local communities.

On 5 June 2026, Mr. Akkaranan Kankittinan, Deputy Minister of Education, expressed congratulations and encouragement to teachers in the Local Devotion project via Zoom while on-site with the Minister of Education in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. He shared guidance on conduct to prepare everyone to return home to develop education and strengthen their local communities.

Mr. Akkaranan said he believes everyone who chooses to become a teacher has inspiration to work. More importantly, Local Devotion teachers must have true love for their hometowns and genuine sacrifice to dedicate themselves to their local areas. He wished everyone strong physical and mental strength throughout their journey.

“Many have decided to stay with this project long-term, not just for six years. On days facing obstacles, I want everyone to remember the day they first decided to join. Let challenges be just passing moments and motivation to fight for our children and education. Everyone is not just sacrificing to be teachers but also sacrificing to care for and build strong communities,” Mr. Akkaranan said.

Mr. Akkaranan also said that the khaki uniform everyone will wear from now on is not just a personal pride but an inspiration for youth and community members. It is also the pride of the Ministry of Education. Everyone is an important gear driving the country forward. He urged them to uphold goodness, perform their duties as local teachers properly, and succeed on the nation’s teacher path.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister also reflected that “distance is not an obstacle” in education work. Even while on a field mission in a province, he still held video calls via Zoom to talk, meet, and encourage teachers in the Local Devotion project closely, showing his commitment to caring for teachers in every area.
