Ratchada announced that the government has opened the welfare card status check for 2026, confirming over 8.45 million successful registrations. Results are expected on 17 July 2026. She emphasized that if the status shows “Registration Confirmed,” no additional action is required.
On 6 June 2026, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that the Department of Provincial Administration has launched a system accessible via a website.https://web-app.bora.dopa.go.th/welfare/loginOr by QR Code and using the ThaiD application for access. This is aimed at those who missed initial registration, allowing them to register by themselves. For those unable to use these channels, Ministry of Interior officials will schedule visits to their local areas or homes. They will also assist existing welfare cardholders with identity verification.
Existing welfare cardholders can check their 2026 welfare registration status via the official websites บัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐ.mof.go.th or welfare.mof.go.th, verifying their identity through the ThaiD app or by entering their ID number and birthdate.
The system will display registration status in three categories:
1) “Registration Confirmed” – wait for qualification verification without further action and monitor announcements on 17 July 2026.
2) “Incorrect information according to ID card” – re-register is required.
3) “Under verification of registrant’s ID card information” – check status again the next day.
Registrants do not need to use the original registration channels. If unable to register independently, they can contact any of the five participating banks handling registrations for assistance.
The Prime Minister’s Office spokesperson said the Ministry of Finance reported progress on confirming rights registration between 4–5 June 2026 at midnight, showing that 8,865,427 existing welfare cardholders have registered, with 8,454,728 or over 95% successfully confirmed. Those with status “Registration Confirmed” need no further action and should await qualification results on 17 July 2026.
