
The "Thai Chua Thai Plus" program has received strong public support, with total spending exceeding 14.099 billion baht and 140,000 participants having used the full 1,000 baht entitlement. The government notes this reflects a nationwide recovery in purchasing power and confirms that Food Delivery services will begin on 15 June.
7 June 2026 GMT+7 Ms. Lalida Pertwivatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul is driving grassroots economic stimulus measures through the "Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40)" project, aimed at boosting purchasing power among citizens and distributing income to small entrepreneurs, community shops, and local businesses nationwide.
The latest data from the Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance, as of 6 June 2026 at 5:00 p.m., shows that the program has received continuous positive response and has effectively stimulated spending in the economy. Currently, 26,040,623 people have participated in the program, with cumulative spending reaching 14.09982 billion baht. This includes government support amounting to 8.20535 billion baht and citizen co-payments totaling 5.89447 billion baht, with 21,852,006 participants having completed their transactions, reflecting widespread use and actual spending in the economy.
Regarding merchants, 997,573 stores have successfully registered and are ready to serve customers, including 866,459 existing stores and 131,114 new stores. Additionally, 3,613 stores are under verification and 112,817 are in the process of accepting the program's terms and conditions, indicating ongoing interest from business operators to join the program.
The Deputy Government Spokesperson further stated that currently 925,033 stores have recorded actual spending through the program, while as of 5 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m., 142,610 people have fully utilized the 1,000 baht entitlement. This demonstrates strong public response to the government's economic stimulus, which effectively reduces living costs and increases purchasing power.
"The continuously increasing spending figures reflect that the Thai Chua Thai Plus (60/40) measure truly stimulates the grassroots economy by reducing citizens' living expenses, increasing income for small vendors, and generating cash flow in communities nationwide. The government will closely monitor the program to maximize benefits for the public and the country’s economy,"
she added. Regarding usage through Food Delivery platform merchants, services will begin from 15 June 2026 onwards to enhance accessibility to the benefits and expand commercial opportunities for digital economy entrepreneurs.
