Tae Joins Phasapong, Bangkok Governor Candidate of Bangkok Flying Group, Campaigning in Yannawa District

"Tae Mongkolkitti" joined "Nong Phasapong," the Bangkok governor candidate of the Bangkok Flying group, campaigning in Yannawa district. They promoted youth league and green space policies and vowed to pursue corruption investigations after the election.

7 June 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Mongkolkitti Suksintharanon, also known as Tae Rama 7, chairman of the Bangkok Flying group, together with Mr. Phasapong Chaiwiriyavanich, known as Nong, candidate for Bangkok governor representing the Bangkok Flying group, visited and campaigned in Yannawa district. They planned to continue to Bang Khun Thian, Taling Chan, and Thawi Watthana districts to listen to community problems and present policies to the public.

Mr. Phasapong said that during the visits they saw youth cover dance competitions, which reflect the potential of Thai children to develop to international levels. He cited the success of Lisa Lalisa Manoban, who brought fame to Thailand in the K-pop industry and inspired Thai youth to dream and develop their abilities.

Additionally, the Bangkok Flying group proposed establishing a "semi-professional football league for secondary school youth" to provide children and youth with extra income while studying, alongside developing sports skills and advancing toward professional football careers. They believe that with serious support, the league could grow economically, sell broadcast rights abroad, and serve as a platform to discover rising stars for professional and national Thai football teams.

Mr. Mongkolkitti revealed that while visiting the Rama 3 area, he detected foul odors from local water sources, prompting him to urge relevant agencies to urgently inspect and resolve water pollution to prevent adverse effects on residents' quality of life. He speculated that many environmental problems—such as wastewater, stagnant water, and air pollution—might result from ineffective law enforcement.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mongkolkitti also discussed stimulating the economy through health projects, proposing that Bangkok promote training for Thai massage workers and organize health massage activities in communities and public spaces to create jobs, generate income, and improve residents' quality of life. This would also provide opportunities for those seeking certification in traditional Thai massage professions.

Another key policy is to increase green spaces in Bangkok from the current 2.85% to 10% within four years if entrusted by the public. The plan includes gradually acquiring additional land to develop public parks and green areas to reduce air pollution, absorb greenhouse gases, and enhance the environmental quality of the capital city.

During a speech, Mr. Mongkolkitti mentioned something called the "Ah Kong regime" which he described as an entrenched system of vested interests within certain government agencies, involving procurement, appointments, transfers, and various governmental oversight. He noted that systemic corruption is a major obstacle hindering national development and effective problem-solving for citizens. He claimed to have in-depth information about several procurement projects, including details about companies awarded contracts, involved persons, and some operational processes, stating he knows quite a lot but, since it is election season, now is not the time to disclose all information.

"For now, I will focus on campaigning. After the election, I will use the information I have to conduct investigations and follow the appropriate procedures, because all projects using taxpayers' money must be accountable."

Mr. Mongkolkitti also emphasized that if trusted by the public, he would push for serious measures on transparency, budget oversight, and anti-corruption to ensure Bangkok's administration is efficient and benefits the people to the fullest.

The reporter added that the allegations mentioned are merely Mr. Mongkolkitti's opinions and claims, which have not yet been verified or proven by authorized agencies. Fact-checking remains the responsibility of relevant authorities following legal procedures.
