Chadchart Confident His 4-Year Track Record Will Earn Bangkok Residents Trust to Re-Elect Him as Governor

Chadchart Sittipunt, the Bangkok governor candidate, believes that his performance over the past four years will earn the trust of Bangkok residents and lead them to re-elect him as governor.

On 8 June 2026, reporters reported that starting at 17:30, Thairath TV Channel 32 and Thairath Online will broadcast a special program live. “City Control Game” A challenge to clearly compare the visions of Bangkok governor candidates to see who can best solve the city's problems. The program delves deeply into their visions through demanding missions including intelligence puzzles, city crisis tier lists, and tough questions testing the candidates’ resolve. The show is hosted by Pa Toy and Kai Pongsakorn.

The Bangkok governor candidates participating to present their visions and demonstrate their problem-solving skills for Bangkok residents include Anucha Boopachaisri from the Democrat Party, Chadchart Sittipunt running as an independent, and Chaiwat Sataworawijit from the Prachachon Party. Viewers can watch live from 17:30 onwards.

Chadchart Sittipunt, the Bangkok governor candidate, stated that the next four years are critically important because the world is rapidly changing in terms of technology and environment. He emphasized that the competition is not with oneself but with cities worldwide in attracting talented people, investors, and improving the quality of life in the city.

Chadchart's team proposes a city vision focused on creating opportunities and hope for everyone. They view this through four dimensions: 1. People are the city, and the city is its people. They aim to care for citizens from birth to old age, ensuring education is of international quality and accessible to all for lifelong learning. 2. Healthcare system providing comprehensive care from early childhood to senior age. 3. A strong economy that keeps functioning and developing.

Above all, quality of life must be ensured, including good air quality, green spaces, and quality public areas. The vision covers: 1. People, 2. The city with infrastructure that meets life needs such as safety, lighting, transportation, flood control, sewage, and waste management that supports people’s work. 3. Systems that efficiently respond to urban residents’ needs, providing effective services with appropriate technology, transparency, and decentralized power to all citizens to ensure equality.

4. Economy: The city is the economy. Whether large companies—of which there are 1,400—or small and medium enterprises and half a million vendors employing six million people in Bangkok, all need proper care and support.

Chadchart's team has proposed a total of 251 detailed plans available on their website, with clear indicators showing priorities and schedules. He believes that their past achievements will earn public trust, and these plans will reassure voters to choose Chadchart to continue managing Bangkok.
