Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, gave an interview regarding the Cabinet meeting's consideration to review and adjust the criteria for the tax deduction measure on parental support, which is used as a criterion to screen eligibility for the State Welfare Card (also known as the poor welfare card). He said that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Akniti Nitithanprapas has been instructed to provide clarification on this matter.
At the same time, the Prime Minister was also asked about China's preparation to deliver 93 T59D tanks to Cambodia. He was asked if there were any concerns regarding this issue. He replied that it has nothing to do with Thailand. When reporters pressed if there were concerns, the Prime Minister shook his head and said he was not worried.
