
The Comptroller General's Department has partnered with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to transfer aid payments directly into accounts of newborns, the elderly, and persons with disabilities without deducting any fees.
On 10 June 2026 GMT+7, Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi Thongsaluaykorn, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government has completed the transfer of June welfare assistance to vulnerable groups today. This was coordinated jointly between the Comptroller General's Department, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, depositing funds directly into eligible recipients’ accounts nationwide simultaneously with no fees deducted.
Details and eligibility criteria for the June 2026 payments are as follows: Elderly allowances – those aged 60-69 receive 600 baht; 70-79 receive 700 baht; 80-89 receive 800 baht; and those 90 or older receive up to 1,000 baht. Child support (newborn to 6 years old) is 600 baht, conditional on average family income not exceeding 100,000 baht per person per year. Disability allowances are 1,000 baht for those under 18 years old and 800 baht for those 18 and older.
Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi emphasized that the government prioritizes improving quality of life for all citizens. This funding will help increase liquidity and ease household expenses. Eligible recipients can immediately check their balances through various channels such as their linked banking apps, ATMs, the "Tang Rat" application, or the Comptroller General's Department website, without needing to visit bank branches.
