Apply by 15 June: “ODOS Batch 2” Offers Opportunities for High-Achieving Students to Study Abroad

The government is expanding the “ODOS Batch 2” scholarship program to send Grade 12 and vocational students abroad. It has instructed networks to accelerate awareness campaigns in remote areas, emphasizing the need to apply by 15 June via the website odos.ocsc.go.th.


On 11 June 2026, Second Lieutenant Phatdarasmi Thongsaluaykorn, Deputy Spokesperson for the Office of the Prime Minister, revealed that the government, through the Ministry of Education, has introduced proactive measures to promote equality, reduce disparities, and distribute educational opportunities nationwide. They are currently accepting student applications for the program. “One District, One Scholarship” : or “ODOS Batch 2”

for the year 2026, with applications open until 15 June.

The Deputy Government Spokesperson further stated that to overcome barriers in accessing information in remote areas, the Minister of Education has directed all affiliated agencies to intensify awareness and disseminate information about the ODOS scholarship application process to students, teachers, parents, and educational networks nationwide. Schools are tasked with mentoring and assisting students in remote or communication-limited areas to correctly and timely submit their applications online. This ODOS Batch 2 scholarship offers opportunities for underprivileged but high-achieving and capable students to pursue advanced vocational certificates (Diploma of Vocational Education) and bachelor's degrees abroad. A total of 100 scholarships are available: 70 for Grade 12 students to study bachelor's degrees in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia; and 30 for third-year vocational certificate students to continue with advanced vocational diplomas or bachelor's degrees in Australia.

This program is not just a scholarship but a chance for all Thai youth to gain global experience by studying in fields critical to the country’s future development, such as science, technology, engineering, computer science, AI, medical and health sciences, and future industries. Applications close on 15 June 2026, and submissions must be made online atthe website odos.ocsc.go.th.
