The Interior Ministry is revamping “OTOP Midyear 2026,” bringing together 2,000 booths to IMPACT and introducing key highlights such as 'Thai Craft' and 'Live Streaming' to embrace the digital era.

On 11 June 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Polpeer Suwanchavee, Deputy Minister of the Interior, chaired a press conference for “OTOP Midyear 2026” under the concept “OTOP NEXT INSPIRATION: Thai Helps Thai Plus” at Eden 1, CentralWorld shopping mall. Senior executives including Mr. Arsit Sampantarat, Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry, and Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department, joined to promote the policy of “Reducing Expenses, Generating Income, Reducing Inequality” to connect community products to modern markets and build a sustainable grassroots economy.

Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department, revealed that this year’s event is a major transformation integrating offline and online worlds seamlessly. Over 2,000 OTOP entrepreneurs nationwide will showcase products throughout the venue, featuring key highlight zones such as the OTOP NEXT & Live Commerce Hub with a live streaming studio connecting sales to modern global consumers; and the new OTOP CRAFT & BEVERAGE HUB, which elevates Thai craft beverages to the international stage by gathering premium community spirits, craft spirits, fruit wines, and Thai craft beer.

The “Fun with Thai Fabrics” zone supports the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, featuring contemporary Thai fabric fashion. Other zones include OTOP artists, OTOP Nawatwithi community tourism, OTOP Premium, and the OTOP Food Tasting zone offering delicious dishes from all regions. The event incorporates digital technology to support commerce and brand building, enhancing opportunities to reach modern consumers and actively driving community economy.

Additionally, the event will host business matching activities to open export opportunities, special discount promotions, and mini-concerts by famous artists throughout the nine days. The Interior Ministry invites the public to support Thai products at OTOP Midyear 2026 from 20 to 28 June 2026 GMT+7 at Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
