Prime Minister Calls Special Cabinet Meeting This Morning, Orders Attendees to Wear Mourning Attire

The Prime Minister has called a special Cabinet meeting this morning following the announcement by the Royal Household Bureau of the death of Princess Bajrakitiyabha, ordering all meeting participants to wear mourning attire.


On 12 June 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that following the Royal Household Bureau's announcement of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, Krom Luang Rajsarin Siriphat Maha Vajrarachathida, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul called a Cabinet meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Government House.

For this special Cabinet meeting, all attendees, their aides, and related personnel were instructed to dress in mourning attire. Gentlemen are to wear black Western-style suits with mourning bands on their arms or black long-sleeve traditional Thai clothing, while ladies are to wear formal black dresses or black traditional Thai outfits.
