On 12 June 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Patcharakitiyapha Narentira Thepyawadi, Krom Luang Ratchasarin Siripatchara Maha Vajraratchathida.
It states that following the Royal Household announcement dated 12 June 2026 on the death of Her Royal Highness Princess Patcharakitiyapha Narentira Thepyawadi, Krom Luang Ratchasarin Siripatchara Maha Vajraratchathida, the government has received the news with deep sorrow and deems it appropriate to issue the following declaration.
1. All government offices, state enterprises, government agencies, and educational institutions shall fly flags at half-mast.
This shall be for a period of 15 days starting from 12 June 2026 onward.
2. Civil servants, state enterprise employees, and government officials shall observe mourning for a period of 15 days.
This will also commence from 12 June 2026 onward.
The general public is kindly requested to consider observing mourning as appropriate.
