Chadchart Unfazed by NACC Probe Request Over Transfer of 17 Bangkok Officials, Emphasizes 4 Years of Transparent Work and Challenges Proof

Chadchart is unfazed by Jirayu and Chris submitting a complaint to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) about the transfer of 17 Bangkok officials. He stresses four years of transparent work, challenges the accusers to prove their claims, and urges complainants to follow the case through to its conclusion rather than merely generating media hype.

On 12 June 2026, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, candidate for Governor of Bangkok, number 9, visited the community and presented his policies at the Yannawa Elderly School in Yannawa district. He also addressed political developments on 11 June, when Mr. Chris Potranan, a party-list Member of Parliament (MP) and leader of the Economic Party, and Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, former Bangkok MP from the Pheu Thai Party, submitted evidence to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). They accused the Bangkok Governor and his team of misconduct regarding the appointment and transfer of 17 senior Bangkok officials, alleging corrupt and illegal actions.

Mr. Chadchart stated that filing complaints to the NACC is a right available to all citizens, with no initial requirement on the amount of evidence. He noted that he has faced dozens of such complaints before and confidently affirmed that all appointment and transfer processes have been conducted properly according to regulations, without any issues.

He added that he is willing and ready for the NACC to review the case to decide whether it should be accepted. He cited a past example when Mr. Srisuwan Janya filed complaints against him; the NACC conducted standard procedures by requesting evidence and summoning the complainant for further information.

Mr. Chadchart emphasized that throughout his more than four years in office, he has steadfastly performed his duties with integrity. He is ready to prove the truth and await the complainants’ evidence. He also urged those filing complaints to base their claims on facts rather than merely generating media buzz during the complaint process, and to follow the justice process to its conclusion. He expressed confidence that Bangkok’s administration has acted honestly in all matters.

Furthermore, Mr. Chadchart expressed gratitude to Mr. Suphanat Meenachainan (Bank), Bangkok MP for Constituency 9 (Chatuchak-Bangkhen-Laksi), for acting as an additional voice in inquiring about and expediting the NACC’s review of the Bangkok exercise equipment procurement case. He noted that the review process involves multiple steps within both the NACC and the Bangkok committee responsible for re-examination, and the process remains ongoing and time-consuming. Having individuals who follow up and push for progress is beneficial to promptly reveal all facts to the public.
