
Eighteen media organizations have teamed up with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to report the election results for the Bangkok governor and 69 council members in real time, while also opening recruitment for volunteers to help count votes across all 50 districts.
The Digital Television Association (Thailand), the Online News Producers Association, together with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and 18 media partners, have united to report the 2026 Bangkok governor and Bangkok council member election results in real time on Sunday, 28 June 2026, starting from 5:00 p.m. after the polls close.
The public can follow the Bangkok governor race minute-by-minute with real-time reporting from volunteers across all 50 Bangkok electoral districts. Election results can be tracked through all partner media outlets involved in the project, including Thairath TV, Thai PBS, Channel 3 HD, One31, PPTV, TNN 16, Nation TV, Amarin TV, Channel 8, Workpoint, Top News, NBT 2 HD, The Standard, Matichon, Khaosod, Daily News Online, BBC Thai, and True 4U from 5:00 p.m. onward after the polls close.
However, volunteers are still needed in all 50 districts throughout Bangkok to monitor every vote together by submitting results as part of this important mission after the polls close on 28 June 2026.
Volunteer applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. Proficient in using a mobile phone.
2. Able to count votes in real time and photograph one tally sheet.
3. Take photos of tally sheets from two additional polling stations.
