The government revealed that over 11 million existing State Welfare Card holders have completed registration. More than 1 million others are urged to finish registering before 11:00 p.m. on 21 June 2026 GMT+7.
On 13 June 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Ploytale Laksamisangchan, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed progress on the 2026 State Welfare Card registration confirmation project. From 4 to 11 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m., a total of 11,797,120 existing cardholders have confirmed their registration, while 1,376,853 have yet to do so.
“The government urges existing State Welfare Cardholders who have not yet confirmed their registration to complete the process by 21 June 2026 at 11:00 p.m. Please carefully verify all information before confirming. For those who have registered but have discrepancies in their ID card data, the Committee for State Welfare for the Grassroots Economy and Society has resolved that registrations with correct ID numbers but minor errors in other details will be considered complete. They do not need to request corrections or re-register. For registrations with significant errors, the committee will expedite verification and correction,” Ms. Ploytale emphasized.
Ms. Ploytale stated that the Ministry of Finance will announce the eligibility results of confirmed registrations on 17 July 2026 via the project website, the "Pao Tang" application, official government apps, and registration units at five banks.
