
Akkaranan visited Kanchanaburi to oversee the assistant teacher exams, stressing the need for transparency and fairness, while sending encouragement to all candidates as they take an important step toward the teaching profession.
On 14 June 2026, Mr. Akkaranan Kankittinan, Deputy Minister of Education, accompanied by Ms. Narint Chamnandu, advisor to the Deputy Minister of Education, and a delegation, visited the examination site for the recruitment and appointment of assistant teachers under special circumstances. The event took place at Kanchananuwong School, under the Kanchanaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office. Mr. Paichaya Phimsaree, director of the Kanchanaburi Secondary Education Service Area Office, along with other administrators and staff, welcomed and guided the inspection of the examination process.
The examination covered 10 subject groups, including Mathematics, English, Chinese, General Science, Biology, Social Studies, Physical Education, Western Music, Computer Science, and Home Economics.
Mr. Akkaranan stated that the assistant teacher examination is a crucial process for selecting qualified educational personnel to join the system. This examination must be conducted with complete transparency and accountability at every stage, strictly adhering to fairness principles to ensure all candidates receive equal opportunity and that the results are accepted by all parties.
Mr. Akkaranan added that he encourages all candidates to demonstrate their full potential, emphasizing that this examination is not merely a competition but a significant step toward entering the teaching profession, which is a valuable career with an essential role in national development.
