15 June 2026 GMT+7 The People’s Party announced preparations to hold an event called “City That Cares Policy Fest.” On Saturday, 20 June 2026, at the Future Building, the event will promote the concept “Turning policy on paper into tangible experience.” It will showcase readiness to manage the city and present a policy blueprint to build a welfare system that supports citizens’ lives and opens opportunities for Bangkok residents to become self-reliant.
This Policy Fest will serve as a platform to prove that the People’s Party has a set of policies ready for implementation to transform Bangkok into a city that cares for its people. The main highlight is the presentation of policies in four key areas: family care, basic living and welfare, transportation, and commerce. These aim to support quality of life and help Bangkokians gain stability more easily. Additionally, there will be booths for district-level policies from the party’s candidates for all 50 Bangkok Metropolitan Council (BMC) seats, reflecting solutions to grassroots issues.
The panel discussions from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. will feature the party’s leadership vision, including Mr. Chaiwat Sathaworawijit, the candidate for Bangkok Governor (Bangkok Governor), Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party, , Mr. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, chairman of the Progressive Movement, along with the party’s MPs and candidates for the Bangkok Metropolitan Council. Discussions will focus on reforming Bangkok’s bureaucracy to transform the civil service into a state that supports and facilitates the livelihoods of ordinary people, which is central to building a city that truly cares.
This Policy Fest aims to create an open space for the public to participate, engage, and question the party’s readiness to drive a caring city before deciding in the upcoming Bangkok governor and council elections on 28 June. Interested individuals can attend the event free of charge on the specified date and time.
