Pichan believes the public can see that those in power and the government are using security issues to generate a narrative that conceals failures following reports of arms transport in Cambodia. He confirmed that the Prachachon Party is monitoring the situation.
15 Jun 2026 GMT+7 Pichan Chaowaphatthanawong, secretary-general of the Prachachon Party, commented on the reports of arms transport on the Cambodian side, stating that the issue of military equipment movement is being tracked by the security team within the parliamentary military commission of the House of Representatives. This is happening both through official parliamentary mechanisms and covertly. The extent to which they can access or investigate this information depends on cooperation from military personnel who reject and disagree with certain behaviors. He urged the public to continue following their work and said they will reveal this information in the future.
When asked whether such developments carry significant implications, Pichan said that politically they have no receipts and cannot prove the facts. However, the media and public may observe that the government or those in national power create narratives or use certain issues as shields to cover up failures at certain times. He offered this as his observation.
