On 15 June 2026 GMT+7, reporters noted that the Senate considered an urgent agenda item to approve nominees for the position of Supreme Administrative Court judge under Section 15, Paragraph 3 of the Administrative Court Establishment and Procedure Act B.E. 2542 (1999), as amended by the 9th Act in B.E. 2560 (2017).
. The voting results on approving nominees for the Supreme Administrative Court judgeship were as follows: The vote tallies were as follows:
1. Mr. Panumas Liemsakul 154 votes in favor, 1 against, 26 abstentions, 1 no vote.
2. Mr. Trangan Kiatsiriroj 151 votes in favor, none against, 31 abstentions, 1 no vote.
3. Mr. Wutthichai Saengsaran 147 votes in favor, none against, 32 abstentions, 1 no vote.
4. Mr. Yanyong Thanthapipong 144 votes in favor, none against, 34 abstentions, 1 no vote.
5. Mr. Somsakul Na Bangchang 148 votes in favor, none against, 32 abstentions, 2 no votes.
6. Mr. Treethot Nikrothangkul 147 votes in favor, none against, 32 abstentions, 1 no vote.
7. Mr. Prayoon Preeda 150 votes in favor, none against, 31 abstentions, 1 no vote.
8. Mr. Phatthana Kussripitak 149 votes in favor, none against, 33 abstentions, 2 no votes.
9. Mr. Hasadi Sriwichian 147 votes in favor, none against, 32 abstentions, 3 no votes.
The voting results showed that all nine individuals received approval from the Senate members (Senators) by majority vote, thus confirming their appointment as Supreme Administrative Court judges. Following this, the Senate also voted against disclosing the minutes of five meetings and the confidential report of the ordinary committee assigned to examine the background, conduct, and ethical behavior of the nominees for Supreme Administrative Court judge, with 150 votes in favor of withholding, 16 against, 7 abstentions, and 3 no votes.
