Chuan Leekpai joined the Thammasat community, Thammasat alumni, to pay tribute to "The Prince Lawyer".
On 15 June 2026, in front of the Dome Building at Thammasat University's Tha Prachan campus, Chuan Leekpai, former Prime Minister and former Speaker of the Parliament and House of Representatives, attended a memorial ceremony for Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, Krom Luang Rajsarinisiri Patchra Mahavajraratchathida. The ceremony was held under the theme "The Prince Lawyer, Thammasat Forever in the People's Hearts" to commemorate her graciousness as an alumna of Thammasat University's Faculty of Law.
The memorial ceremony was chaired by Professor Dr. Supasawat Chatchawan, President of Thammasat University, along with university executives, faculty members, staff, and student representatives. On this occasion, Chuan Leekpai stood in silent tribute and participated in the ceremony with the university leadership and Thammasat community to express loyalty and profound remembrance of Her Royal Highness's graciousness.
