Mongkol Surasajja, Senate President, declined to give an interview regarding Prit Wichasinth, Member of Parliament (list MP) and Deputy Leader of the People’s Party, who revealed a video clip from Senate selection day. The clip raised suspicions that the person shown handing a ballot slip to Election Commission staff might be Mongkol.
Mongkol simply said, “Go ask him. Why ask me?” When pressed again whether he was the person in the clip, Mongkol did not respond. His team immediately cut off the interview, saying, “That’s enough.”
