
A royal command has transferred Major General Parithat Bunnag to serve as a military officer in the King's Service and appointed him as a special operations officer.
On 18 June 2026 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette announced a royal command transferring a commissioned officer to the King's military service, under the authority of Section 15 of the 2017 Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, along with Sections 4 and 9 of the 2017 Act on the Administration of the Royal Household, and Sections 10, 13, and 15 of the 2017 Royal Decree on the Organization and Personnel Management of the Royal Household.
His Majesty graciously commanded the transfer of Major General Parithat Bunnag, formerly a staff officer to the commander at the Army Command Office (rank of Major General), to the King's Guard Security Command.
Simultaneously, a royal command appointed him as a special operations officer at the King's Special Operations Office within the King's Guard Security Command, with the rank of Major General. This appointment is effective from 12 June 2026 GMT+7. The announcement was made on 18 June 2026 GMT+7, the 11th year of the current reign.
