The Social Security Office has organized polling units under the policy “one district, at least one polling station” to facilitate citizens in exercising their right to vote in the Social Security Board election. The office reminds insured persons not to forget to check their mobile numbers to receive SMS notifications about their registration results.
On 19 June 2026 GMT+7, the Social Security Office emphasized the election of employer and insured person representatives to serve as board members of the Social Security Committee. The office has arranged polling units so that there is at least one station per district, making it more convenient for voters compared to previous elections. This reduces travel costs and time, while efficiently and orderly accommodating all eligible voters. Each voter may select up to seven candidates per side through a direct and secret ballot using election cards. This allows voters to choose representatives they deem suitable to be the voice of employers and insured persons in managing the Social Security Fund.
Regarding election registration, the Social Security Office requests cooperation from employers and insured persons to verify their personal information carefully, especially the mobile phone number used in registration. The office will send SMS messages directly to registrants to notify them of their registration status and election-related information. Therefore, providing a correct phone number is crucial to ensure voters receive complete information and notifications from the Social Security Office and do not miss their voting rights.
The Social Security Office invites qualified employers and insured persons to register and participate in electing their representatives. Together, they can drive and shape the future of the Social Security Fund to truly meet the needs of insured persons and all stakeholders through a transparent, fair election process that offers equal participation opportunities for everyone.
