Bangkok invites First Voters and residents to join the "Bangkok Vote: I Will Vote" campaign to awaken democratic energy ahead of the 28 June election, featuring aerobics activities to boost public participation.


At 17:00 on 19 June 2026, Dr. Lertlak Leelarueangsang, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, presided over the opening of the election campaign activity. "Bangkok Vote: I Will Vote" Held at the MBK Skywalk near National Stadium BTS Station in Pathumwan District, the event offers fun activities, prize draws, opportunities to voice messages to the new Bangkok governor, and election-themed check-in spots in the city center from 19-20 June 2026, inviting the public to exercise their voting rights for Bangkok governor and councilors on Sunday, 28 June 2026.


The Deputy Permanent Secretary stated that Bangkok is everyone’s home, workplace, and living space. The election is an important opportunity for citizens to help shape the city's future by choosing leaders and representatives who will develop the city to meet people's needs in quality of life, transportation, environment, education, economy, and community development.


For this election, Bangkok has over 4.4 million eligible voters, including 20,584 first-time voters (First Voters), who represent a vital force in driving the city's future. Citizens of all ages are encouraged to vote on Sunday, 28 June 2026, to jointly determine Bangkok's development direction, affirming that every vote matters and can bring real change.


Citizens are advised to prepare by focusing on three key points: 1. Verify their voter registration and polling station; 2. Prepare identification documents such as ID card, driver's license, or digital ID via the ThaiD application; and 3. Study information about candidates for both governor and councilors in their districts to make informed choices that truly meet public needs.


The Deputy Permanent Secretary added that voters can verify their eligibility and follow election updates at the website เลือกตั้งกรุงเทพ69.com, as well as through various communication channels of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and government agencies. The event included attendees such as Lieutenant Commander Dr. Sampan Saengkhamlert, Director of the Bangkok Election Commission Office, Mr. Chawalit Wongyai, Deputy Director of the Bangkok Election Commission Office, Bangkok executives, district directors, representatives from the Bangkok Election Commission Office, local election committees, and private sector partners including CP All Public Company Limited, Seacon Shopping Center, Kasetsart University, and Sripatum University.


On 20 June 2026 at 19:00, a special aerobics dance to the "Bangkok Vote" song will be led by instructor Tuk and the aerobics team from Lumphini Park to add excitement and encourage public participation.

Bangkok invites the public and media to join the "Bangkok Vote: I Will Vote" activities on 19-20 June 2026 from 17:00 to 20:00 at the MBK Skywalk near National Stadium BTS Station, Pathumwan District. The event features creative activities and numerous check-in points, such as “Message to the New Governor,” a space for citizens to share opinions and expectations for the new Bangkok administration; “Photo Hunt,” a fun game to find photo spots and win souvenirs; “DIY Vote,” a creative souvenir-making activity from Huata Khe Creative District and Ban Pan Thom, symbolizing democratic participation; and the “I Will Vote” check-in spot with the Bangkok Vote landmark for photos and sharing voting spirit. Registration for activities and prize draws will be available throughout both days.
