Chaiyanat Warns Bangkok District Directors to Remain Neutral, Avoid Using State Power to Aid Former City Executives

Chaiyanat Dechadecho visited Din Daeng district to support Democrat Party candidates in their campaign, warning all district directors to remain neutral and not use government authority to assist former Bangkok executives or council candidates. He affirmed that the Democrat Party will closely monitor the situation.

On 20 June 2026, Chaiyanat Dechadecho, party-list MP and Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party, visited the Thai-Japanese Stadium in Din Daeng to campaign and seek votes for Chantima Sittisurat, candidate for the Bangkok Metropolitan Council (BMC) in Din Daeng District, number 4, and Anucha Burapachaisri, Democrat Party candidate for Governor of Bangkok, number 5.

Chaiyanat stated that the election must be conducted fairly, impartially, and without interference from those in power. He urged all district directors to remain neutral and not use their official authority or government mechanisms to benefit any political group.

“I warn all election officials at every level not to use their positions or state power to assist any former Bangkok executives or any BMC candidate, as this would undermine public confidence and the integrity of the election,” said Chaiyanat.

He affirmed that the Democrat Party will closely monitor the situation and is ready to investigate any cases that might affect the fairness of the election, ensuring that citizens can exercise their rights under truly equal rules.
