On 20 June 2026, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, together with Bangkok MPs and People's Party S.K. candidates from inner Bangkok, joined a caravan activity in inner Bangkok to encourage citizens to vote in the upcoming Bangkok governor and S.K. elections on 28 June. The party nominated Mr. Chaiwat Sathaworawijit as governor candidate number 10, along with full S.K. candidate slates for all 50 districts.
Today's caravan began with a speech at Wat Khaek Market (Silom Soi 20) in Bang Rak district, then proceeded through Pathum Wan, Ratchathewi, and Phaya Thai districts to the second speech at Ratchawat Market in Dusit district. The caravan then moved to Phra Nakhon district for a speech at Trok Mo Market, followed by stops at Pom Prap Sattru Phai and Samphanthawong districts, concluding with a speech in Yaowarat area of Samphanthawong district. The atmosphere was lively, with many locals listening and offering support along the way.
Mr. Natthapong emphasized that they are now in the final stretch, with only eight days left before election day. He urged Bangkok residents to come out and vote in large numbers, giving a chance to Dr. Joe Chaiwat and the People's Party to govern Bangkok. He highlighted their firm political will, a ready management team, and comprehensively designed policies that will surely bring about change. During the speech, a resident presented 10 bottles of orange juice as encouragement, to which the party leader responded, "Let these 10 bottles of orange juice turn into 50 S.K. seats."
