The Prime Minister, accompanied by his wife, visited the OTOP Midyear 2026 event, serving papaya salad to the public and encouraging the use of the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" program to support the grassroots economy and generate income for communities nationwide.
On 20 June 2026, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also Minister of Interior, along with his wife Ms. Thananon Niramit, visited the OTOP Midyear 2026 event at Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province. They were welcomed by Mr. Atsit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department, and other executives.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister and his wife toured booths of OTOP entrepreneurs from all 77 provinces nationwide, offering encouragement to producers and business owners. They also visited highlighted zones including OTOP Premium, OTOP Craft & Beverage Hub, and "Thai Fabrics for Fun," showcasing the potential of Thai wisdom in modern markets.
Additionally, the Prime Minister sampled dishes in the OTOP tasting zone and took part in a papaya salad-making activity, distributing it to the public in a friendly manner. He invited citizens to support OTOP products and utilize the "Thai Chuey Thai Plus" program to back community entrepreneurs, generate income, and drive sustainable grassroots economic growth. The OTOP Midyear 2026 event runs from 20–28 June 2026 at Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Nonthaburi Province.
