Mallika campaigns in Romklao Housing and Sammakorn areas during the final election phase, promoting 14 policies to transform Bangkok, combat corruption, and stimulate the grassroots economy.
At 9:00 a.m. on 21 June 2026 GMT+7, Mallika Boonmitrakul Mahasuk, Bangkok governor candidate number 14, led a caravan of campaign vehicles to meet residents in Prawet and Saphan Sung districts, especially around the Romklao Housing Market and Sammakorn Market, attracting significant attention from local citizens, vendors, and entrepreneurs.
Mallika stated that a key policy she aims to push is revitalizing Bangkok's economy, particularly by supporting small entrepreneurs and SMEs to gain greater access to funding sources. This will improve business liquidity, preserve jobs, and create new employment opportunities for Bangkok residents.
“A strong economy starts at the grassroots. Small entrepreneurs must truly access capital. When businesses can continue operating, employees keep their jobs. Bangkok must be a city of opportunity for everyone,” Dr. Mallika said.
In the final election phase, she also emphasized 14 main policies covering economic solutions, transportation, safety, education, environment, public health, and the use of AI technology to modernize city management and better address citizens' needs.
Candidate number 14 added that this election is a crucial opportunity for the public to choose a new leader to manage Bangkok, and she is ready to volunteer to transform the capital's administration to be more efficient, transparent, and responsive to the people's problems faster.
“Bangkok's budget must be genuinely used to solve people's problems. There must be good governance, transparency, accountability, and serious anti-corruption. The power entrusted by the people should not serve individuals or groups but must be used to concretely improve the quality of life for Bangkok residents,” Mallika said. .
This visit to Romklao Housing Market and Sammakorn Market is part of her community engagement during the final week before the election to listen to issues and present development plans based on her 14 policies under the concept of building a transparent, safe, modern Bangkok with inclusive economic growth across all 50 districts.
