The Prime Minister fired back at Ice after she mocked the defense of the TH-AI Passport project to please Chaichanok, saying others should not interfere in party affairs and added sharply, "If you want to preach, clean your feet first."
On 22 June 2026, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul spoke about the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the work of ministers, parliamentary committee chairs, and Thai Sang Thai Party MPs over a one-year period. Recently, Rakchanok Srinok, an MP from the People’s Party, posted a sarcastic message accusing this KPI move of prompting Thai Sang Thai MPs to rush to gain points protecting the TH-AI Passport project of Chaichanok Chidchob, Minister of Digital Economy and Society. Anutin strongly responded, "That’s the Thai Sang Thai Party’s business; others should not interfere."
When asked again about Rakchanok’s view that this was pushing those without official positions to hasten their work to defend Chaichanok, Anutin immediately replied, "Do as you please," then sharply added, "If you want to preach, clean your feet first." Regarding whether the current performance of ministers is considered good, Anutin nodded and said evaluations are ongoing; anyone needing improvement is assessed on dedication and commitment. As their superior, if a better approach is known, he calls individuals in to advise them personally on what to do.
Asked if the one-year timeframe to measure ministerial performance is too long, the Prime Minister cryptically replied, "Even one day is too long," then promptly walked up to the Thai Khu Fah Building.
