The Election Commission (EC) warns against selling, distributing, giving away, or serving any kind of alcohol during the Bangkok Governor and Pattaya Mayor elections, from 18:00 on 27 June until 18:00 on 28 June. Violators face penalties including imprisonment and fines.

On 25 June 2026, the Election Commission Office invited eligible voters for the Bangkok Governor, Bangkok Councilors, Pattaya Mayor, and Pattaya Council Members to exercise their voting rights on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 08:00 to 17:00 at their designated polling stations.

Within the Bangkok and Pattaya election zones, no one is allowed to sell, distribute, give away, or serve any kind of alcohol in the election area from 18:00 on the day before the election (starting 18:00 on 27 June 2026) until 18:00 on election day (28 June 2026). Violators face imprisonment up to six months, fines up to 10,000 baht, or both, according to Section 123 of the Local Council or Local Executive Election Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) and its amendments.

The Election Commission Office urges all sectors to strictly comply with the related laws and regulations, and invites all eligible voters to cast their ballots on Sunday, 28 June 2026, from 08:00 to 17:00 at their assigned polling stations to help create a fair, transparent, impartial, and just election.
