Joe Chaiwat Launches Final Campaign with 10 Parades Across the City Asking Bangkok Residents to Open Doors for the People’s Party

"Joe Chaiwat" launches a final campaign with 10 parade routes throughout the city, asking Bangkok residents to open the door for the People’s Party to enter and work on changing the lives of city inhabitants.

On 25 June 2026, at the People’s Party headquarters, Joe Chaiwat Sathawijit, candidate number 10 for Bangkok Governor from the People’s Party, launched a campaign dispatching parade vehicles on 10 routes across Bangkok during the final phase of the election campaign. The parade routes start from Bang Kapi district, continuing through Wang Thonglang, Suan Luang, Phra Khanong, and ending in Bang Na, inviting citizens to join in filling Bangkok with 10 votes for the People’s Party’s two ballots in the governor and council elections on Sunday, 28 June.

Joe Chaiwat said that throughout the campaign, the People’s Party has been going door to door to present policies and their intentions. This election determines the city's future for the next four years. He urged all Bangkok residents to ask themselves whether they are truly satisfied with the city where they plan daily life, seek medical care when ill, and avoid going out when it rains. Leaving home, they don’t know what accidents might happen. The city shows constant corruption scandals that have become normalized.

Every election offers a chance for change. He believes Bangkok can change only with determination. If people accept the status quo, they will continue to bear these burdens. But changing Bangkok cannot be done by the governor alone, no matter how knowledgeable. Change requires all 50 district council members from the People’s Party, each with a local agenda to push forward. If the party’s council candidates win seats, they are ready to start creating change from day one.

Joe Chaiwat added that the People’s Party has proven in Lamphun Province, which has a smaller budget than Bangkok, that positive change is possible through their administration. Therefore, by voting for Joe Chaiwat and the People’s Party council candidates, voters will get a ready team to work, including collaboration with the Progressive Movement.

He urged Bangkok residents to vote with the same determination as in the 8 February election and to open the door for the People’s Party to manage Bangkok’s administration by voting for both of the party’s ballots.

The People’s Party will hold its final rally before voting on Friday, 26 June 2026, starting at 5:00 PM at Benjakitti Park (Outdoor Water Park Stage). Party leaders will speak, led by Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, party leader; Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn, Bangkok management team; Suphanat Meenachainan, Bangkok MP; Piangpanoh Boonklam, Bangkok management team; and People’s Party council candidates.
