
The Royal Gazette has published a royal decree closing the first ordinary annual session of Parliament starting from 12 July 2026, after the 120-day period for the ordinary session has ended.
On 25 June 2026, the Royal Gazette website published the royal decree closing the first ordinary annual session of Parliament B.E. 2569 (2026). The decree states that His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun graciously issued the command on 25 June 2026, the 11th year of the current reign, announcing that:
Since the royal decree summoning Parliament B.E. 2569 (2026) was issued on 14 March 2026, the 120-day period for the first ordinary annual session will expire on 11 July 2026.
By the authority granted under Articles 122 and 175 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty has graciously commanded the royal decree to close the first ordinary annual session of Parliament starting from 12 July 2026.
