The Election Commission clarified that residents with expired, damaged, or lost ID cards need not worry, as Bangkok and Pattaya will offer ID card services during the election period.
On 26 June 2026, the Election Commission Office announced that voters for Bangkok governor, Bangkok council members, Pattaya mayor, and Pattaya council members who have expired, damaged, or lost ID cards, or who need a new card, can obtain ID card services on Saturday and Sunday, 27 and 28 June 2026, to facilitate voting participation as follows.
1. Bangkok will provide ID card services on Saturday, 27 June 2026, with all 50 district offices operating normally from 08:00 to 16:00. On Sunday, 28 June 2026, election day, all 50 district offices will remain open from 08:00 to 17:00. Additionally, 19 Bangkok Express Service centers across the city will operate, each with varying hours. For more information, residents can contact the Bangkok hotline at 1555, available 24 hours.
2. Pattaya City will provide ID card services at Pattaya City Hall on Saturday and Sunday, 27 and 28 June 2026, from 08:30 to 16:30.
