On 26 June 2026, reporters reported that the House of Representatives issued an announcement regarding the appointment of parliamentary political officials, stating that, following the royal decree appointing the opposition leader in the House of Representatives on 8 May 2026, pursuant to Section 106 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, and exercising authority under Sections 92(7) and 85, first paragraph, of the Parliamentary Officials Act B.E. 2554 (2011), Ms. Piengpanoo Boonklam is appointed as advisor to the opposition leader in the House of Representatives, effective from 14 May 2026 onward.
