Royal Command Appoints Nirat as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Chotinrin as Governor of Phuket

The Royal Gazette published a proclamation of a royal command appointing Nirat Pongsitthithaworn to leave the post of Governor of Phuket to become Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Chotinrin Koedsom to leave the Deputy Permanent Secretary position to become Governor of Phuket.


On 26 June 2026, the Royal Gazette website published a Prime Minister's Office announcement on the appointment of regular civil servants. The royal command appointed two senior civil servants under the Ministry of Interior to be relieved from their current positions and appointed to new high-level executive roles as follows.


1. Mr. Nirat Pongsitthithaworn is relieved from the position of Governor of Phuket, Office of the Permanent Secretary.

He is appointed to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary.

2. Mr. Chotinrin Koedsom is relieved from the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary and appointed as Governor of Phuket, Office of the Permanent Secretary.


These appointments take effect from 25 June 2026 onwards. The announcement was issued on 26 June 2025. The royal command recipient is Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
