Tinakorn and Somkiat braved the rain to launch their final campaign event, urging Minburi residents to change their future. They noted that the rain exposed real flooding problems and plan to push for solutions after the election. Before boarding a campaign vehicle to canvass votes, they stressed that every minute is an opportunity to meet voters.
On 27 June 2026, Mr. Tinakorn Plodpai, leader of the "Reliable Minburi" group, together with Mr. Somkiat Khunboonchan, candidate for Minburi district councilor number 3, launched the final campaign event titled “Make a Change This Time for a Worker with 15 Years of Experience, No Title but Results” at King Rama IX Park in Minburi, ahead of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council election on Sunday, 28 June.
Although the event was accompanied by continuous rainfall, the atmosphere remained warm and supportive. Sirintip Meenmanee, former Minburi district council candidate, and Sunan Meenmanee, former Member of Parliament candidate for Minburi, along with many residents, came to show their support.
Mr. Tinakorn expressed his deep gratitude to all the residents who came despite the heavy rain throughout the event. He said, "Everyone stayed, waited, and sent us their encouragement. What I saw today truly touched me and gave me great strength. We will not let the hopes and trust of the people go to waste and will work wholeheartedly for the people of Minburi."
Mr. Somkiat stated that the rain was not an obstacle to meeting the people; on the contrary, it revealed the real problems. He learned about areas in Minburi still suffering from waterlogging and slow drainage, information he intends to use to push for targeted solutions. He emphasized that his 15 years of work have involved visiting communities, listening directly to their concerns, and standing with residents in all circumstances.
After the event, Mr. Tinakorn and Mr. Somkiat immediately continued their campaign by touring Minburi in a campaign vehicle, meeting residents despite the ongoing rain, seeking votes in the final stretch before the election day, stressing that every minute is an opportunity to connect with the community.
