Election Commission Inspects Readiness for Receiving and Delivering Pattaya Election Ballots to Build Public Confidence at Every Step

Election Commissioners Sitthichot and Anan inspected Pattaya city election readiness, observing the receipt and delivery of election ballots to build public trust at every stage and ensure every vote is protected equally.


On 27 June 2026 in Chonburi province, Mr. Sitthichot Intrawiset and Mr. Anan Suwanrat, Election Commissioners, along with Police Colonel Jarungwit Phumma, advisor to the Election Commission, visited Pattaya city, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, to monitor preparations for the Pattaya city council and mayoral elections scheduled for the following day. They received briefings summarizing operations, management, and election readiness measures from relevant agencies at Pattaya City Hall.


Following this, the Election Commissioners and team observed the receipt and delivery of election ballots and materials for 113 polling stations at the front yard of Thappraya meeting room, Pattaya City Hall, Chonburi. They then inspected the readiness of polling station Zone 2 at Muang Pattaya 4 School (Wat Nong Yai), Na Kluea subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, checking the polling site setup, voter facilitation, and staff preparedness. They stressed that all procedures must strictly comply with election laws and regulations to ensure every vote is equally protected under a process that is honest, transparent, impartial, and fair—fundamental principles of governance in a democratic system.
