James and Wife Vote in Bangkok Governor Election, Urge Citizens to Shape Citys Future

Anucha, accompanied by his wife, cast their votes and praised the officials for their swift management. He also advised on how to remember the ballot colors, stressing that every vote is important in determining the future of the capital city.


On 28 June 2026, at a polling station near Nana Suites Hotel on Sukhumvit 4, Khlong Toei district, Bangkok, which is electoral zone 7, Anucha Burapachaisri, Democratic Party candidate for Bangkok governor, arrived with his wife, Sudarat Burapachaisri, to exercise their voting rights in the Bangkok governor and city council (MP) elections.

After voting, Anucha said he woke up as usual to pray and meditate before heading to the polling station with his wife. He described the overall atmosphere at the station as very orderly, with well-prepared officials assisting voters efficiently, making the voting process quick and not time-consuming.

Anucha added that the voting process was very convenient, with all steps being smooth and fast. From presenting his ID card to dropping the ballot took less than five minutes. He urged all Bangkok residents to fulfill their duty and vote as much as possible, emphasizing that every vote is vital in shaping the direction and future of their city.
