On 28 Jun 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Taiwut Khankaew, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, visited polling stations in Sai Mai, Bang Khen, and Lak Si districts to monitor voter assistance, traffic control around the polling stations, and to ensure readiness for possible rain throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jiradet Karunakitkul, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, inspected the vote counting and election management operations in Khan Na Yao district, inquiring about the number of eligible voters, vote reporting, and the readiness of support systems to ensure accurate, timely, transparent, and compliant election processing.
Dr. Lertlak Leelarueangsang, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, voted in Bang Khae district before visiting polling stations in Suan Luang and Bang Na districts to oversee operations and voter assistance, ensuring convenient, safe, and equitable voting access.
The visits by the three deputy permanent secretaries found that overall election and vote counting operations are running smoothly, with voters arriving steadily. Polling staff are following prescribed procedures and are prepared for possible afternoon rain as forecasted by the Meteorological Department, aiming for efficient, transparent elections that fully facilitate voters.
Bangkok invites all eligible voters to cast their ballots by 5:00 p.m., emphasizing that every vote is important for shaping the city's future development. The green ballot is for voting for the Bangkok Governor, and the pink ballot is for electing members of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council.
