Updated results of the 2026 Bangkok governor election show every candidate's votes. Chatchat set a new record surpassing 2022 with 1,537,784 votes. Mallika follows in second place with over 304,000 votes, while Dr. Joe from the People's Party received 188,000 votes.
On 30 June 2026, the Bangkok Local Election Commission announced the counting results for the Bangkok governor and Bangkok Council member elections, held on 28 June 2026 from 08:00 to 17:00 across 6,628 polling stations citywide. After polls closed, officials began counting votes from the two ballots: the green ballot for governor and the pink ballot for council members. The results were as follows.
1st place: Mr. Chatchat Sitthiphan with 1,537,784 votes (1,386,769 votes in 2022)
2nd place: Mrs. Mallika Bunmitrakul Mahasuk with 304,494 votes
3rd place: Mr. Chaiwat Sathaworawijit with 188,144 votes
4th place: Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri with 106,739 votes
5th place: Mom Luang Korakasiwat Kasemsri with 47,728 votes
6th place: Mr. Samai Lalert with 19,695 votes
7th place: Mr. Prateep Watcharachokkasem with 14,722 votes
8th place: Mr. Pongsak Puapornpong with 12,295 votes
9th place: Police Lieutenant General Chanthep Sesavej with 8,079 votes
10th place: Mr. Phisan Kittiyaowamarn with 4,412 votes
11th place: Mr. Weerapot Lueprasitsakul with 4,232 votes
12th place: Mr. Komsan Punwichatikul with 3,689 votes
13th place: Mr. Phasapong Chaiwiriyavanich with 3,641 votes
14th place: Mr. Prayoon Krongyot with 2,223 votes
15th place: Mr. Olan Tangtratrakul with 1,846 votes
16th place: Miss Sirat Changphet with 1,617 votes
17th place: Mr. Somchai Charoenworakiat with 1,298 votes
18th place: Miss Lollana Mongkolhasdin with 970 votes
Once the Bangkok Election Director receives the vote count announcement from the Bangkok Local Election Commission and finds the election and counting to have been honest and fair, it will be reported to the Election Commission. After preliminary verification, if the Commission deems the election fair, it will officially announce the results within 30 days of the election date.
