
The Governor of Chonburi inspected the smooth conduct of the Pattaya city election and reported no irregularities or demands, with a total of 80,204 eligible voters.
On 28 Jun 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Narit Niramaiwong, Governor of Chonburi Province, accompanied by Mr. Isra Charoenchasri, Deputy Governor, and election inspectors, visited polling stations for Pattaya City Council and mayoral elections. They inspected constituency 2 at the multipurpose building of Pattaya City School 11 (Pattaya Demonstration Secondary School) and constituency 1 at Pattaya Technical College. They were welcomed by Mr. Anusak Piriyaomorn, Bang Lamung District Chief; Mr. Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Pattaya City Secretary acting as election director for Pattaya; Deputy City Secretary; Ms. Manatsanan Witthana, Director of the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission Office; members of the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission; Pattaya City Election Commission; and relevant department heads who provided information.
Governor Narit Niramaiwong stated that today he, along with the Deputy Governor, Bang Lamung District Chief, and related agencies, inspected the election operations for Pattaya City Council and mayor at constituency 2 at the multipurpose building of Pattaya City School 11 and constituency 1 at Pattaya Technical College. This election has 113 polling stations in total: constituency 1 with 28 stations, constituency 2 with 27, constituency 3 with 25, and constituency 4 with 33, serving 80,204 registered voters in total.
Overall, from the morning until now, the situation has been orderly with voters steadily coming out to cast their ballots. No reports of irregularities or complaints from the public have been received. Previously, Pattaya City and the Chonburi Provincial Election Commission thoroughly trained officials at all 113 polling stations, ensuring today's operations are carried out smoothly with transparency and fairness.
The Governor of Chonburi also encouraged eligible Pattaya voters to participate in electing the Pattaya City Council and mayor to help shape the city's development direction. Voting is open until 5:00 p.m. today at the polling stations corresponding to each voter’s registered residence.
