On 28 June 2026, after reporters covered the atmosphere during vote counting for the Pattaya mayoral and city council elections, at 21:36 (with 96.46% counted), unofficial results showed Poramet Ngampichet, the incumbent from We Love Pattaya, leading with 19,319 votes. Second was Itthiwat Watanasathsorn from the People's Party with 11,044 votes, followed by Sakchai Tangho with 1,033 votes, Suaynee Charoensuk with 263 votes, and Itthipol Nethiyakup Singkornkaew with 182 votes.
Out of 80,196 registered voters, 33,178 voted (41.37%). Valid ballots numbered 31,841 (95.97%), spoiled ballots were 1.69%, and 776 ballots (2.34%) were abstentions.
Later, Poramet Ngampichet of the We Love Pattaya group (incumbent) officially declared victory in this election, expressing gratitude for the public's votes that enabled him to defend his title. Sonthaya Kunplome and many others joined to congratulate him on this electoral win.
Poramet Ngampichet (Beer), born 29 November 1972, is a politician and heir of the influential Ngampichet family. He is the son of Dr. Santasak Jaroon Ngampichet, former Deputy Minister of Public Health and former mayor of Pattaya.

Master's degree in Finance from California State University, San Bernardino, 1994–1995 (recognized for scholastic achievement, Beta Gamma Sigma); Bachelor's degree in Finance from the same university, 1993–1994; Associate degree from Chaffey College, USA, 1991–1992; completed high school at Assumption Commercial College and junior high at Assumption Sriracha.
