At 19:35 on 28 Jun 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after unofficial vote counts in the Pattaya election, it was found that Mr. Poramet Ngamphichet from the We Love Pattaya group, the incumbent champion, held a significant lead over Mr. Itthiwat Watthanastathorn of the People's Party, who was in second place.
At the Future New Building, the People's Party headquarters, Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut, a party-list MP and party leader, along with Mr. Chaiwat Sathawornwijit, the People's Party candidate for Bangkok governor, and Mr. Pichon Chaowaphatwanwong, party secretary-general, jointly announced the unofficial results of the Bangkok and Pattaya elections.
Mr. Natthapong said that based on tracking the latest mayoral election results in Pattaya, it appears that the People's Party candidate may not have won this term. However, they will continue to follow the election results for the Pattaya City Council members.
Meanwhile, the unofficial Pattaya mayoral election results at 19:54 showed Mr. Poramet Ngamphichet from the We Love Pattaya group in first place with 16,482 votes, followed by Mr. Itthiwat Watthanastathorn from the People's Party with 9,547 votes, and Mr. Sakchai Tangho with 912 votes.
