Pattaya Mayoral Election - Complete Vote Count Declares Beer Poramet and Team Victorious

With 100% of votes counted (unofficial results), "Beer Poramet" from the We Love Pattaya group claimed a sweeping victory in the Pattaya mayoral and city council elections.

On 29 June 2026, reporters covered the Pattaya mayoral and city council elections. After unofficial results were released, Poramet Ngampichet declared his victory, leading by more than 8,600 votes over his rival Itthiwat Watanasathsorn of the People's Party. Meanwhile, the People's Party expressed gratitude for every vote from the public.

Subsequently, the Pattaya Election Operations Center in Chonburi updated the unofficial vote counts for the mayoral and city council elections on Pattaya’s official website.https://vote.pattaya.go.th/At this time, 100% of the votes have been counted.


The unofficial mayoral election results show Poramet Ngampichet in first place with 20,184 votes; second place, Itthiwat Watanasathsorn with 11,566 votes; third, Sakchai Tangho with 1,077 votes; fourth, Suaini Charoensuk with 265 votes; and fifth, Itthipol Nethiyakup Singkornkaew with 191 votes.


For the Pattaya City Council election, unofficial results reveal that all 24 candidates from the We Love Pattaya group, who are Poramet Ngampichet’s teammates, won seats across all four electoral districts, achieving a full team victory.

Regarding voter statistics for this election, out of 80,196 eligible voters, 34,677 cast their ballots (43.24%). Valid votes totaled 33,283 (95.98%), spoiled ballots numbered 589 (1.70%), and 805 ballots (2.32%) were left blank.

Compared to the previous Pattaya mayoral election in 2022, voter turnout this time was lower. In 2022, 38,320 people voted (49.96%) out of 78,018 eligible voters.
